After being in the business for over half a century, it is safe to say we know a thing or two about car repairs. The Smedley Transmission Inc name was chosen because we mainly worked on transmissions in the early years of our business. In the past 10 years or so, we have now grown past the transmission bubble and offer a variety of different automotive services. We still do transmission work but have grown to include other services such as belt repairs, brake repairs, and engine light diagnosis. The professionals at our shop are available to give the best auto advice with the customer's interest always as a priority. Our years of experience paired with our commitment to excellence is sure to have you satisfied with your auto repair service experience. The six-bay facility we have here is based around getting you your car back safely. We do this by providing professional, trusted automotive work. Called about a vehicle that the torque converter was going out. My mechanic wanted to swap out the transmission. But this place rebuilds them on site for a lot cheaper than my mechanic would have charged to put a rebuilt one in. Smedleys quoted me even for a total rebuild would still be 1700. Less than my mechanic. I will definitely go with them once I decide I want to do it. He was extremely helpful on the phone, and I know the local people all say they do an amazing job!
